The powerful 6.3-liter V8 is now mated to a AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7-Speed MCT transmission featuring a new rotary control knob familiar from the SLS AMG. Both models receive an enhanced AMG suspension package delivering greater agility and lateral acceleration. The optional AMG Development Package produces 481 hp. and features forged pistons, connecting rods and a lightweight crankshaft adopted from the SLS AMG.

The E63 AMG sedan returns with the new 5.5-liter biturbo direct-injection V8 engine (518 hp., 516-lb. ft.) paired to the AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7-Speed MCT transmission, plus new 19-inch AMG 10-spoke wheels.

This new engine family offers massive increases in torque (up to 43% more!) over the predecessor 6.3L M156 engine and features an ECO/Start-Stop function which seamlessly stops the engine at a standstill. Incredibly, these huge advances in engine performance are achieved while reducing fuel consumption by approximately 25% vs. the M156 engine! This demonstrates AMG’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility while delivering electrifying performance.

The E63 AMG Wagon (available as special order only) also debuts with standard Panorama sunroof and performance to match that of the sedan. Both models available with an optional performance package delivering 550 hp./590 lb-ft.

The new generation CLS63 AMG debuted (May) with new 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine (518 hp., 516-lb. ft.) with ECO Start/Stop technology, AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7-speed MCT transmission and AIRMATIC rear suspension. The optional Performance Package delivers 550 hp./ 590-lb.-ft.

The exciting new SLS Roadster debuts with a perfect combination of open-top driving pleasure, outstanding driving dynamics and sophisticated lightweight construction. As the Mercedes-Benz design and performance standard-bearer, the limited-production SLS AMG was the first-ever car designed and developed from the ground up by Mercedes-AMG, the company’s high-performance brand.

With a super sports car pedigree, the SLS AMG Roadster delivers identical performance to that of the gullwing — with one major difference — a view of the open sky above. A button at the front of the center armrest operates the folding top, which can be opened or closed in 11 seconds, even when the car is moving at speeds up to 30 mph. This combination of raw performance, legendary Mercedes-Benz refinement and the visceral experience of open top motoring is sure to quicken the pulse of driving enthusiasts.
