Third Consecutive Year On List – MBUSA Jumps from # 15 to #12

MONTVALE, N.J. – Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) announced today that for the third consecutive year, it has been ranked one of the “100 Best Companies to Work For” by FORTUNE magazine in its15th annual survey which appears in the February 12th issue of FORTUNE, available on newsstands on Monday, January 23rd, and now at fortune.com/bestcompanies. In its third year as an entrant, MBUSA’s 2012 ranking of No. 12, (up from) No. 15 last year, is the sole automaker on the list and No. 4 among small organizations with less than 2,500 associates.

A successful year draws to a close for the Mercedes-Benz Museum

Stuttgart. The total number of visitors to the Mercedes-Benz Museum rose once again in 2011, to 701,000. On the year marking the automobile’s 125th anniversary, the visitors came from 175 countries worldwide. The newly designed Legend 6 exhibition room and the special ‘Art & Stars & Cars’ exhibition additionally attracted new target groups to the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Mercedes-Benz announces 2 million SUV’s have been delivered

Stuttgart – Mercedes-Benz’s SUV models are celebrating another milestone. Since the launch of Mercedes-Benz’s first sports utility vehicle – the G-Class – over 30 years ago, more than two million G-Class, M-Class, R-Class, GL-Class and GLK-Class models have been delivered to customers. Dr. Joachim Schmidt, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing Mercedes-Benz Cars: “Our entire SUV family is extremely popular among our customers, particularly in the USA and in its second-largest market China. With the launch of our first sports utility vehicle – the G?Class – more than 30 years ago, we entered a segment in which we are now very successful with a total of five models.
