Just wanted to post up a few more photos of the up coming 2010 E Class. The guys at autoblog.com have the the article in full. As I previous mentioned the E will grow in length, width and a bit longer wheel base. I think the lines, styling ques, and interior all look great. I cant wait to see it in person.

Mercedes-Benz has given us the ability to add Navigation, A2DP, and a full media interface to Mercedes owners who purchased a C-Class or GLK that doesn’t have the multimedia package installed. I finally got the opportunity to sit down and go through the UMI Interface. It is great and easy to use. I wasn’t sure how it would be since the vehicle has the smaller screen. What I found was no problems at all with the display.
Accessing the various functions is done differently than a vehicle with the Multimedia package…
For navigation you press and hold the “CLR” button next to the COMMAND knob.
From the menu you have all the normal functions/features you find on a vehicle factory equipped with the Multimedia Package.
To access the media functions of the device press the “DISC” key.
This brings up the CD interface. With your COMMAND knob go down one level and select “CD”, this will bring up AUX Menu. Select “AUX” and you are then given the option for “DISC, AUX, USB, Audio Streaming, and iPod”.
Here is a shot of me streaming audio from my Nokia phone to the vehicle. For this function to work, your audio device has to have A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). You have to pair up your device with the car just like you did with bluetooth phone. It will create a separate profile called UMI.
The last thing to mention is real time traffic assistance for the lifetime of the vehicle.
MSRP is $1500 plus installation. I think you should find it to be under $2000 installed.

I was excited to find out in addition to Salesmen of the Month last month, I was also in the top 50% in the US of CPO vehicle sales for November. Again thank you to all who have purchased from me last month and previously. I look forward to earning your business again.

Since the launch of the new 204 chassis (the C-Class) last year Mercedes Benz has reported over 500,000 have been delivered. That shows how great the new C-Class is. It also says a lot about how the “down economy” is spending their money (still buying Mercedes vehicles). The sales of the C-Class have been a huge part of the success Mercedes has shown this year.
With that said as the current 211 chassis is drawing to an end, Mercedes-Benz has reached a great mile stone in auto sales. 1.5 million E-Class sedans have been delivered since the launch in 2002. During that span Mercedes has reintroduced the diesel to the USA. First as the E320 CDI and now as the E320 BlueTEC. The diesel not only provides excellent fuel economy, but ultra low emissions as well. It was awarded the “2007 World Green Car of the Year” award in April last year.
2009 is going to be a great year for us. We have the GLK in Janurary, and the new E sedan, coupe, and convertible in late spring/early summer next year. We will see our first hybrids in the S-Class and the ML sometime in the fall. Lots of great new vehicles to enhance the already great current line up.
I just wanted to say a quick thank you to my clients who purchased from me last month. With your help I achieved the top sales person for the 2nd time this year. I also had the most appointment shows of any sales person for the month of November as an added award. I look forward to a busy December.
